In many competitive and narrative miniature games, arguing about line of sight can break the flow of play. This laser pointer for wargames shows you exactly what your miniature can see, even with dense scenery or complex boards: point from the miniature towards the target and instantly check shots, spells, and abilities without any doubt.

Perfect for Warhammer 40,000, and also for other 28–32 mm miniature games where line of sight matters, such as Kill Team, Necromunda, Warhammer: The Old World, Age of Sigmar, Infinity, Stargrave, Deadzone, One Page Rules (Grimdark Future / Firefight), or Star Wars: Legion.

This model uses a 1 mW, Class 2 red beam. Class 2 lasers are visible and limited to low power (usually up to 1 mW), intended for general use, and under normal conditions, the natural blink reflex helps prevent prolonged exposure.

In contrast, higher-class lasers (e.g., 3R/3B) can pose more risk and are also restricted in many markets for use as pointers; therefore, choosing Class 2 is the most sensible option for hobbyists.

Safety warnings:

Never point at eyes or people/animals, and do not look directly at the beam (basic safety rules for any laser).
Avoid pointers of dubious origin. There are devices that are mislabeled or without reliable classification, and these can pose a real risk to the eyes.
